Benelli Malaysia has just recently launched three of their latest 2019 motorcycle models at Kuala Lumpur and one of them is the Benelli TRK 251, which is the adventure type motorcycle.
The Benelli TRK 251 is the smaller (engine) version of the TRK 502 which I believe will be selling like hot cakes in Malaysian market soon. It is a motorcycle with easy and agile handling and a 250 cc beating heart capable of taking on even the most difficult routes without ever overwhelming even novice riders. In fact it is a 250 cc designed for even the youngest riders, and can be ridden with a B2 license.
The single-cylinder, four-stroke engine is liquid cooled, with double overhead camshaft timing system and electronic fuel injection. Its maximum power is 26.8 hp at 10500 rpm, with torque of 21 Nm (2.14 kgm) at 9000 rpm.
The traditional steel tube trellis frame is able to offer maximum stability and ease of riding. The suspensions feature an upside-down fork with 41 mm diameter legs on the front and a rear swinging arm with central damper and 51 mm travel.
The Benelli TRK 251 features a braking system consisting of a single floating 280 mm disc with 4-piston calliper on the front and 240 mm with single-piston caliper on the back that can guarantee maximum road safety. The 17″ aluminum alloy rims mount a 110/70 tyre on the front and 150/60 at the rear. The Benelli TRK251 will be available starting the second half of 2019 and the price is yet to be released.
