To offer a comprehensive e-hailing service, Grab Malaysia has started GrabBike services around Kuala Lumpur.
According to a Lowyat.net report, the service covers areas around KLCC, Bukit Bintang, Pudu and Chow Kit with a test period of 6 months.
Meanwhile, according to the star, the base fare is at RM3.70 with an additional RM0.55 for each kilometre between 3 to 5.5. KM and additional RM1 over 5.5KM. There is also a service fee be imposed on at RM 0.30.
However, a fine of RM2 will be imposed if the customer cancels the reservation after 5 minutes or the GrabBike rider has waited more than two minutes.
At the same time, female passengers who are interested in using this service can also choose a female rider.
In other news, the country’s first motorcycle e-hailing service, Dego Ride, returned to the business on the 1st of January with more than 700 riders. Dego Ride will expand its operations to other states beginning March this year.
